Charles Munger said it right. But I’m thinking bigger. Stop chasing connections or pulling strings. Perform well in your own domain, and over time, your reputation will build. Clients and good fortune will come knocking.
Same goes for investing. First, manage your money wisely and don’t do anything dumb. Then look for opportunities. If your mind is always on something else, you may end up failing to keep what you already have. There is no guardian angel. You are your own best bet.
Work on yourself. Get better. The right people will find you.
