“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.” — Sophia Bush, widely attributed
For a long time I treated myself like a rough draft — something to be revised and corrected before it deserved to be taken seriously. I kept postponing rest, joy, even basic kindness toward myself, as if I needed to earn them first. As if the polished, finished version of me was the only one worth caring for.

What I’ve slowly learned is that there is no finished version. There’s just this — the uncertain, trying, occasionally beautiful in-between. Growth doesn’t pause your worth; it’s happening at the same time. You don’t have to have it all figured out to deserve your own gentleness right now.
